Recently, the oldest son of a friend of mine turned 60. She, of course, was horrified because she's not old enough to have a son that old.
When my brother - my older brother - turned 55 last week, I decided to e-mail my 81-year old father and ask him how he felt about it.
He replied that he doesn't feel old. If his children are getting older, that's their problem.
