First Runner Up: Susan Estrich for saying: "The president has views on all of these things and has expresed them clearly and strongly. Whether he's right or not may matter less than the clarity and strength part." Yea right, as long as he's clear and strong, it doesn't really matter whether the President of the United States is right or wrong.
And for saying, in the same article in reference to Mr. & Mrs. BO, "They're cool. Seeing them is almost enough to make you believe that soon the rest of us will be, as well. And how cool would that be?" One, it's beyond embarrassing to hear this middle-aged woman talking and gushing like a teenager. Two, I'm already cool.
Winner: Hands down. No doubt about it. B. Hussein Obama for: (1) giving the Queen of England an ipod - loaded with his speeches. (She reciprocated by giving him an autographed picture of herself.) (2) saying that "In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world." (Europe hasn't been a world leader in decades now.) and (3) bowing to the self-styled King of Saudi Arabia.
