Howard "The Scream" Dean resurfaced the other day, proving yet again that we dodged a bullet in 2004. In response to the criticism surrounding the "Latina woman, white man" comment made by Sonia Sotomayor in 2001, the eminent Mr. Dean said that the comment had been taken out of context. He then immediately conceded that he didn't know the proper context because he had not read the full speech. Is he taking lessons from Biden?
Let me make it easy for you, Mr. Dean. As it regards the law, there is no proper context for such a statement. I would hope that Senate Republicans would take her to task on this statement and make her explain herself, but I lost hope in Senate Republicans years ago.
And furthermore, if a white man had said such a thing in reverse, his nomination would have been pulled immediately amid the hue and cry from the Left. But what is it we hear from the Left? Is that silence?
