ABC for giving Obama free airtime to run his primetime special on how he plans to socialize health care in America. The All Barack Channel is not going to give time to a group touting a free-market plan that offered to buy the airtime, and it is not going to give time for a Republican rebuttal. In short, this is a one-way street. This is indoctrination.
ABC has said that it will pick the questioners and the questions. In light of the fact that ABC is refusing to allow any time for opposing views, it is highly unlikely that it will present the balance it claims it is going to.
ABC should enjoy this while it lasts. Absent certain events, there is going to come a time when Obama will simply demand that all the networks, radio stations, and newspapers carry his viewpoint, and his viewpoint alone. There will be no dissent, Obama's Civilian National Security Force will see to that.
