So, now we learn why Obama stepped in so quickly in Honduras. It seems the elected president decided that he liked it there and never wanted to leave. He defied the law and began taking steps to ensure his reign would not be interrupted by such pesky little things like elections. He was not only removed from office, he was removed from the country.
Obama's actions - with regard to Iran and Honduras - are now seen to be completely consistent.
The "election" in Iran was about leaving a theocratic dictatorship in power. Therefore, no need to intervene.
The events in Honduras were about removing a would-be dictator from power. Therefore, every need to intervene.
You see, Obama would one day like to join the ranks of the dictators he so admires. Unless, of course, you think there is some other reason that the very month he was sworn into office, legislation was introduced to repeal the 22nd Amendment Unless, of course, you think there is some other reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, kissed Hugo Chavez, and welcomed Fidel Castro into the Organization of American States.
