Socialism Explained

An economics professor once had a class which insisted that Obama's socialism would work.  These students believed that a society where everyone was "equal" would be perfect.  Knowing that these students had no idea how the real world worked, he announced an experiment.

All grades would be averaged, and every student would get the same grade.  No one would get an A.   No one would fail.  Everyone would be equal.

After the first test, everyone got a B.  The students who had studied hard and gotten A's were unhappy.  The students who hadn't studied hard and gotten C's were happy.  What a great system!

After the second test, everyone got a D.  Those who had studied hard the first time didn't study as hard this time.  Those who had studied little the first time, studied even less this time.  After the second test, no one was happy.

After the third test, when everyone got an F, the name-calling and bickering began.  Those who didn't study thought that those who did would just keep on studying hard, regardless of their ultimate grade.  Therefore, they could just coast.  Those who studied hard no longer saw the point in it because they were going to get the same grade as those who didn't study at all.

That's socialism.  Those sitting around with their hands out don't understand that people who work hard only to see it taken away and given to those sitting around with their hands out will eventually stop working so hard.

Socialism isn't about everyone working together for the common good.  It's about one class of people taking from another, better class of people.

Because too many people are too stupid to understand that you can't keep taking away from the doers to give to the takers without creating a smaller class of doers and a larger class of takers is the reason Obama is in the White House.
