Commissioner: The proceedings of the Health Choices Commission will come to order. Would the petitioner step forward and state his name for the record.
Petitioner: Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States
Commissioner: I see you're here today on appeal from a decision denying your request to receive medical treatment. Is that correct?
Petitioner: It is.
Commissioner: Please state the reasons for your appeal.
Petitioner: I'm the President of the United States, Leader of the Free World, I need this treatment to continue in my duties. It was wrong to deny my request for treatment.
Commissioner: As you are no doubt aware, Congress approved, and you signed into law, a massive overhaul of the health care system in this country. Unfortunately, Congress exempted itself from the provisions of that law, which caused no end of trouble. Ultimately, the Supreme Court said that it was a denial of the equal protection clause of the Constitution to have one health care system for one group of people but another for another group of people. Therefore, all people of the United States would be covered by the new system.
When costs could not be contained, there was no choice but to institute rationing. All care and treatment, including for emergencies, was rationed based on one simple rule: those who took more money from the State than they paid in in taxes were denied treatment. Since treatment had to be rationed, this was determined to be the fairest way.
You were denied treatment because you fell into this category. You receive a substantial salary and continue to receive royalties from the books you have written. However, your substantial salary is paid from the State and even if you were to pay back to the State every dime you receive in income, you would still be a huge economic loss for the State. Every time you travel, it costs the State tens of thousands of dollars. You take from the State much, much more than you could ever put back in. You are considered a net loss and, therefore, not eligible for treatment.
Others in the same position as you, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, have also had their appeals denied. Mrs. Pelosi is a huge drain on the State's resources. Neither she or you should have wasted this Commission's time with your frivolous appeals.
You come here today seeking preferential treatment. You come here expecting to be exempted from what you decreed for America. You come here today because you think you deserve the treatment that if rendered to you, would have to be denied to someone else. You come here today because you are unhappy that what you did in search of a legacy has now turned around to bite you.
You did what you did, Mr. Obama, and now it is your duty to live with the consequences, just like everybody else in this country. I know this is difficult, but you must accept your circumstances. Having read your file, I would suggest that you make all necessary atonements as soon as possible.
