Winner of the Week: The New York Helmsley Hotel for cancelling a banquet after learning that the Iranian puppet A-Jad was planning on being there and giving a speech, thus giving this bloody moron one less place to spout his bilge about the Great Satan and the Holocaust that didn't happen.
Losers of the Week: Michelle Obama for taking an armored limousine to drive 1 block to a farmers market, necessitating that the Secret Service and the DC police:
1. bring in 36 vehicles
2. shut down H Street, Vermont Avenue, two lanes of I Street, and an entrance to the McPherson Square Metro Station.
3. sweep the area in front of the Department of Veterans Affairs with bomb-sniffing dogs
4. install magnetometers in the middle of the street
5. install barricades to keep pedestrians out
6. take positions with binoculars atop trucks
all so this woman of the people could get some "certified organic Tuscan kale". Talk about delusions of grandeur.
Maureen Down, Jimmy Carter, and anyone else who continue to say that opposition to Obama's plans is racism.
Nancy Pelosi for crying crocodile tears and saying that the rhetoric is just getting out of hand. This from one of the leaders of the party that started it.
David Axelrod for meeting with congressional democrats and telling them that they'll get a "boost" in the 2010 elections if they vote for healthcare reform.
Oh, just so you'll know, Obama claims to have known nothing about the protests in DC on 9/12 until the day of. Two million people are going to be converging on the Capitol and the President of the United States knows nothing about it. Yea, right.
