Congress thinks it has the power to force Americans to buy health insurance. Such a provision is in every health care "reform" billl now brewing in the fetid stewpot of DC. When asked if it has such power under the Constitution - a perfectly good question, all things considered - Nancy-deer-in-the-headlights-Pelosi summed up congress' position when she said, "Are you serious? Are you serious?"
Now WH mouthpiece Gibbs has weighed in with the comment that those who ask such questions don't have any federal cases to back up their belief that such a move would be unconstitutional.
Would now be a good time to mention that those who think they have the constitutional right to do this don't have any federal cases on their side either?
