In his most recent column in the Washington Post, Eugene Robinson stated that Barack Obama did not want to be or ask to be a "war president".
Yes he did.
He raised, by hook or by crook, millions of dollars so he could go from state to state (57 of them, remember) to ask people to vote for him. Wasn't he aware that there were two wars going on? It was in all the papers. It's really quite ridiculous for anybody to say that he didn't ask for this.
And, by the way, it's long past time for him and the other members of his adminstration to quit saying they "inherited" all the problems facing this nation. They actively sought the positions they hold. Nobody forced them. They need to shut their yaps and do their jobs. If they're not up to it, then they should quit.
But the time for griping and pointing fingers is over. We're sick of it.
