This is the line of succession should Obama decide that he's disgraced the office of President long enough: Vice-President - Speaker of the House - President pro tempore of the Senate - Secretary of State. This means that:
Joe Biden is only one heartbeat away from the Oval Office.
Nancy Pelosi is only two heartbeats away from the Oval Office.
Robert Byrd is only three heartbeats away from the Oval Office.
Hillary Clinton is only four heartbeats away from the Oval Office.
If that's not enough to scare people into electing Republicans, I don't know what is.
