Baseball great Roger Clemens has been indicted for perjuring himself when testifying before congress, i.e., lying to congress, and will stand trial on charges that carry up to 30 years in prison.
Congress is one of the most freely-functioning criminal organizations in the world. It lies to us all the time. It cheats, defrauds, and steals from us relentlessly and without apology. So, why is it a crime to lie to congress but not a crime for them to lie to us?
Bernie Madoff did nothing to his investors that congress hasn't been doing to us for decades, and on a much larger scale. So, why is Madoff in prison while Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank are running for re-election?
For far too long now, the DC Dunderheads have been treating We the People like nothing more than an annoyance, except, of course, at election time, when they pretend to be interested in us.
Time to remind these vampires, who are sucking the lifeblood out of us and this country, that they work for us. We are not an annoyance. We are this country, and we want it back.
