Election day is still weeks away, and Republicans are already acting as though they have won and that counting the votes is just a formality.
Please stop!
There is still plenty of time for Republicans to do stupid things, like shut down the government or insist on an all-or-nothing approach to the extension of the Bush tax cuts, which could result in no extension at all. In which case, Republicans would rightly be blamed for higher taxes.
The Republican hierarchy needs to support each and every Republican on the ticket, even if they don't like them. If O'Donnell loses in Delaware, it means that the seat stays democrat. It is not a Republican loss. A Republican is up in Arkansas, and Toomey is up over Sestak, two possible Republican pick-ups. Fiorina/Boxer and Angle/Reid are neck and neck. Those struggling the most need the cash.
The Republican Party and the Tea Party need to work together, not separately. We do not get everything we want in life.
Not only is it childish to think so, right now, it's downright dangerous for this country.
