At a recent townhall-style meeting, ordinary voters gave Obama a good talking to. I'm exhausted defending you. Is the American dream gone? And on and on it went.
Obama, never one to take responsibility for anything, basically said that while everyone wants to cut spending, no one wants to cut Medicare or Social Security or veteran's benefits.
Why do spending cuts have to come on the backs of US taxpayers? We could have billions and billions in spending cuts if we would just stop foreign aid. Obama directed millions to Hamas. Every year, we spend millions and millions on stupid programs around the world, i.e., studying the habits of drunk homosexuals in Argentina. (No, I'm not kidding.) Hillary just proposed giving $50 million to the UN for something. How much money did we pour into Haiti?
What would you think of a man who let his own family do without while giving things to other people? What would you think of a man who let his own house fall down because he was out building a house for Habitat for Humanity? You wouldn't think much of that man. I know I wouldn't.
Yet, that's what America does. By rights, we should have first dibs on what's ours. Why on earth are we giving money to other countries, most of whom spit on us every chance they get, while here in America, We the People are heavily in debt and doing without?
I say, let's keep our money for ourselves. Don't like it? Then get a job and start supporting yourself. Stop expecting, nay demanding, that America take care of you.
Let's give the complainers something to complain about.
