Democrats took back control of Congress in January 2007.
The "Great Recession" started in December 2007.
Obama took the oath of office in January 2009.
The "Great Recession" ended in June 2009.
The start and ending dates of the "Great Recession" are according to the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), "the arbiter of the start and end dates of a recession". (I have no idea who gave them this power.)
Since the "Bush" recession ended in 2009, then what's going on now has to be because of Obama's policies. Can't keep blaming Bush if the powers that be say his recession ended last year.
By the way, since Obama is just so sure that we're moving in the right direction, why are all his economic advisors "quitting"?
