1. The San Francisco County Board of Supervisors who outlawed toys in Happy Meals. Do the liberals believe that there is any expect of our lives they don't have the right to control?
2. Barack Obama, who has already taped his appearance on 60 Minutes (airing Sunday) in which he reiterates that the people voted the way they did NOT because they don't like his policies, but because he didn't explain them well enough, which is just another way of saying that We the People are stupid. I for one don't feel safer knowing that the President of the United States, Leader of the Free World, Man With His Finger on the Nuclear Button, has no connection to reality.
3. Democrats in America, in more ways than one. They were voted out of office because they believed the Pied Piper of Chicago and went along with his schemes. They just might still be in office if they had listened to their constituents. Always dance with the one who brung you.
4. California. Insanity has been defined as doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. Californians, once again, is going to send all democrats to Sacramento, as well as Boxer back to DC. In other words, they kept on doing what got them into a mess in the first place.
They voted to keep in place economy- and job-killing regulations regarding that hoax of the ages known as global warming or climate change or whatever else it's called these days.
They voted to lower to a simple majority the number of legislators required to pass a budget, falling for the lie that a 2/3 vote is still necessary to raise taxes. Yea! We're going to have a budget without raising taxes. And, every day those guys go without passing a budget is a day without pay or perks. Really. No kidding. They fell for it.
Am I the only one who can envision a time, in the not-too-distant future, when our overpaid, underwhelming legislators - having gone a week or two without pay and perks - can't drum up the 2/3 votes necessary to pass a budget with the inevitable raising of taxes?
