On November 5, 2009, a muslim man opened fire on unarmed soldiers at Ft. Hood, killing 13 and wounding some 30 more.
On November 5, 2010, a memorial was held for the families, and a 6-ft. rectangular granite stele, carved with the names of the victims, was unveiled.
Where was America's Commander-in-Chief on this day of remembrance? Preparing for his lavish trip to India and Indonesia, with 3,000 people and several million of our taxpayer dollars in tow.
Let no one ever claim that the Obama administration has even the slightest interest in our men and women and uniform, especially if to honor them means getting in the way of one of his ego trips.
