Despite the fact that today marks the 34th straight day that gas prices have gone up - making prices $1.00 higher than last year at this time and $2.00 higher than when Obama took office - The Business & Media Institute found that only 1% of stories done by the network evening shows mentioned Obama's drilling moratorium and the regulatory hurdles instituted by his administration.
The leftist MSM has blamed unrest in the Mideast and speculators. It's not Obama's moratorium in the Gulf. Oh no. It's not the new regulatory hurdles put in place by Obama's EPA. Oh no. It's not the fact that our own resources are just sitting there. Oh no.
The MSM views the American public as stupid. If they direct our attention to what they say the problem is, without ever mentioning anything else, we will believe them. Despite their falling numbers, the Big Three still think that they're it, that we're sitting glued to our TV sets taking in - and believing - everything they say.
Meanwhile, they're giving the Incompetent-in-Chief a pass that they would never give a Republican. You can bet your bottom dollar that if a Republican were in the White House, higher gas prices would be all his fault. And you can also bet your bottom dollar that when the rising price of gas causes a double-dip recession, the Adolescent-in-Chief will blame the previous administration, and the MSM will be right there to help him.
The truth is out there, it's just that there are some folks who have no interest in telling it.
