Justice Douglas Ginsburg of the DC Circuit Court for ruling that the TSA's scanners do not violate the constitutional rights of Americans. Now Hear This! Every time a law-abiding citizen is strip-searched (scanned) or sexually assaulted under color of authority (patted down), it is a violation of the 4th Amendment, which states: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons . . . against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated." Yo Doug, if you want to make a name for yourself, issue a well thought out, well reasoned opinion that is actually based on the Constitution or the law and not your own personal feelings or your desire to get your name in the paper.
Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) for saying: "I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president —
only this one, only this one — has received the kind of attacks and
disagreement and inability to work, only this one," said Jackson Lee
from the House floor.
"Read between the lines," she continued.
"What is different about this president that should put him in a
position that he should not receive the same kind of respectful
treatment of when it is necessary to raise the debt limit in order to
pay our bills, something required by both statute and the 14th
amendment?"
By screaming racism every time they don't get their own way, the real racists among us actually foment racism where it doesn't exist. Hey Sheila, maybe, just maybe, the reason Obama isn't getting his way on the debt ceiling is because we've never been in this much debt before. You should have been more intent on the consequences of the policies you put into place, and less intent on doing whatever Obama wanted simply because he was black.
Those left-wing commentators who preach that Obama's problem isn't his policies, it's his communication. Really. The silver-tongued devil, whose only real ability is giving speeches can't communicate? What these individuals are really saying is that Obama isn't dumbing down his speeches enough to make us idiots out here understand all the wonderful things he's trying to do for us. He's so much smarter than us yokels out here that he's incapable of expressing himself in a way we can understand. Yea right. That's the problem.
