"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."
So said Karl Marx, socialist and co-author of "The Communist
Manifesto."
Republicans might want to keep this in mind when, if ever,
they finally decide to fix Social Security, after helping democrats rob
it - and us - blind for the past several decades.
Besides raising the retirement
age (hey, why not just raise it to 90), one of the ideas floated is
means testing. We are forced, under threat of imprisonment, to pay into
Social Security. The promise being that you'll get it back later in
life.
Means testing means that you won't get Social Security if you're
rich, as that term will be defined by the criminals in charge. If this
happens, America will have fully implemented a Karl Marx ideal. Money
will be taken from those with ability and given to those with need.
Are Republicans really going to do that?
