Once upon a time, Obama proposed a stimulus, the whole idea of which was to create jobs. America has been losing jobs ever since. Of that gigantic sum of money, $138 million was given to Nevada Energy as part of its $301 million program to replace electric meters with digital upgrades. These new "upgrades" make meter readers unnecessary, and Nevada Energy plans to eliminate nearly 100 positions by next spring. So, a company that got money from a plan to create jobs, used that money to eliminate jobs.
And now, Obama wants another stimulus, the whole idea of which is to create jobs. It would appear that he cannot remember the recent past and seeks to condemn America by repeating his mistakes.
