Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Enter Marianne Gingrich, wife #2 of presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, whom he left for wife #3. I do not like the fact that Newt committed adultery. I have often said that if a man will lie to and cheat on the woman he has vowed to love and cherish above all others, he will not hesitate to lie to and cheat on me. I consider honesty and fidelity core values, and I find Newt sorely lacking. I also don't have a problem with Marianne's fury.
However, I do smell a rat. There is no question in my mind that this sudden appearance was at the instigation of someone on the left. Since it would be quite ridiculous for the left to champion the "accomplishments" of this administration, it has no choice but to smear the Republicans.
Think we'll ever know.
