After Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels gave the response to the State of the Union Address last night, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) said: "The Republican speaker last night, Mitch Daniels, talked about Americans must talk about the state of the union as grave. So, we think we are in great shape. We are in good shape."
Let's discuss. Sustained high unemployment. A housing industry still in tatters. Record number of people on food stamps. Record debt. Record deficit.
I understand the democrat need to support Obama, but if this is "great shape", what does bad shape look like?
