Obamamania, I had it bad,
the man just made me swoon.
That goofy grin, those Dumbo ears
just sent me to the moon.
But that was four long years ago,
and I've had time to think.
Mainly 'cause I lost my job
when things went in the drink.
I moved back home with mom and dad,
my siblings did as well.
The banks gave us the old heave ho
when all our incomes fell.
Costs twice as much to fill my tank.
This ain't the change I sought.
Costs more at the grocery, too,
though food stamps help a lot.
While he and his go far and wide,
acting cavalier.
I'm staying home this summer,
just like I did last year.
After thinking long and hard,
I just can't recommit.
Come November, in that booth,
I'm gonna vote for Mitt.
